I painted this a while ago but wanted to put it up again. Mainly because I didn’t want to have a hairy meatball as my latest blog post anymore .

Ok, I was playing with some of my new painting skills and this is what happened. I love it and am disturbed by it at the same time. Actually this is a self portrait, of my unborn twin living inside of me. That reminds me of the Venture Bothers. What happened to that show?

I have tons of the dvd tutorials from the Gnomon Workshop, and still haven’t watched 10% of them. That is going to change because the are a greate source of information for the aspiring concept artist. I have started with a dvd on rendering flesh by Neville Page.

Here is something I created. I think it’s cute, don’t you?

I came across a really interesting site called Sketch Theatre. It has gives a really raw look at the simple art of sketching. It is really fascinating to watch these artist just put down art on paper. You can tell that they really get lost and in what they are doing, something that i haven’t done in a while. Watching these really inspire me to take more breaks and to draw more, one of my goals for this year.

Thins are going to change around here so I thought the first things to go would be my old blog. It just wasn’t doing the trick anymore so I have decided to start completely over. New style, new posts, new everything. I even erased all my old posts. I was having trouble because there are so many things that I am interested in and was trying to shove them all into one blog. Didn’t work. So, this blog will be mainly geared toward my creative side. Art, design, and random things that keep me occupied when I get bored.
